The Lumberyard is one of North Alabama’s most unique and revered spots for culture, located just three blocks from the downtown square in the Meridian Entertainment District. The 120-year old site has lived many lives, and is well known for its eclectic re-purposing and expansive layout – never staying still and always one-of-a-kind, with a distinctly southern style of hospitality.

This latest iteration of The Lumberyard features the most ambitious offering in its century-plus history. New to the site is the Meridian Arts Club, a world-class music venue, Ferrovia, a fresh take on a sourdough pizzeria, and The Kiln, a rough-and-ready bar and performance space. The mainstay of The Lumberyard remains: a treasured 1920s dining railcar (now known as Camellia) stationed in the central courtyard, lovingly preserved from the prohibition era. It all comes together to form the backyard of downtown Huntsville, with a renown that reaches much, much further.
