Fusing raw environment and a welcome atmosphere, the Foster St development led by local entrepreneur Bill Barkley will embrace the existing old machinery and structural accents on this 130 year-old pottery and pipe factory site and build around it to create a one-of-a-kind concept – truly part of this area’s story. This will be supported with a community-first approach that focuses on local engagement, to ensure that the space launches and grows as a meaningful community asset. With the expansion of East Nashville’s transport links and the news of Oracle bringing 8,500 new jobs to the adjacent neighborhood, the Foster Street development is set to be well situated to this rapidly growing City.
tvg has been tasked to deliver a food, drink and entertainment destination for the local community and the wider city – ready for all occasions and accessible to everyone. This will be a part of a wider masterplan but the latest thinking includes: a 600 cap music venue, a members club, a 10,000 sq.ft+ all day and night food hall, a speakeasy alley, further restaurants, retail units, and a feature garden and pavilion.
